Frame and Fork Features: the frame set used on the Saetta is Columbus monocoque carbon and is light, stiff and gives a superb ride. With the elegant design, smooth curves and features such as mixed internal/external cable routing and double water bottle bosses, its to be admired as well as ridden. The frame weighs 1150g and the carbon forks come in at 565g.
Drivetrain and Gearing: the drivetrain featured on the Saetta is Shimano 105, which is 10 speed. A good working groupset that delivers good shifting and operation. This all works around the compact chainset (Miche Primato Evo) and couple this with the 11 speed rear cassette (11-28), gives you 20 gears to play with.
The crankset is 50-34.
Wheels and Braking: the featured wheels on the Saetta are from Shimano - their R501 model. Good quality and robust clincher wheels, these will supply you with troublefree riding and good grip - thanks to the Vittoria Zaffiro tyres that wrap themselves around them.
Braking is again thanks to the Shimano dual pivot calipers and provides good reliable braking both in wet and dry conditions.
Finishing Kit: completing the look of the Saetta is Cinelli as their DNA range that can be found at the handlebars, stem, and seat post with Deda supplying the bar tape. Topping off the package and providing the rider comfort is Selle Italia and their X1 Flow saddle.
The rental includes (if needed) pedals (Shimano spd-sl / spd-mtb or Look Keo), helmet, 2 water bottles, reparation kit, hand pump.
